Foreword: The Corona crisis and the Covid-19 virus have brought domestic tourism to a standstill. Not only the hotel and restaurant industry suffers from this, but also sightseeing companies and Austrian tourist guides. Therefore, the business of Prime Tours Vienna has unfortunately also come to a standstill.

Our goal is to revive the domestic tourism and to present the capital city to Austrians and neighbouring countries from a new perspective. Every booking supports independent Austria Guides and thus boosts this important economic sector.

Bright an lively – No better words to describe Vienna with during Pride Month!

Marriage equality, Rainbow crosswalks, queer traffic light couples and ranking number four on the International Gay Travel Index for queer friendly destinations!

Austria and especially his capital, Vienna, have made massive strides these last few years regarding the equality and visibility of the LGBTIQ+ community. None oft hat would have been possible without  the countless brave activists and pioneers, that came before us.

Queer people even lived in Vienna long before they had words like gay, lesbian, or trans* to describe themselves with! On our Queer-Vienna Walking Tour we meet Archdukes and Archduchesses, that defied the stiff conventions at court, we track down an espionage scandal, that shook an empire – and even Freud will get a word in!

So pack your rainbow flags and your best feather boa and discover Vienna with us at its most colorful!

What other customers have written about our tours:

The Vienna you won't see in a museum!Loved the chance to tour the city in this way with a guide. We learned a lot about the city and Viennese people and daily life. Highly recommend!!
Excellent fun tour! Anita took us round lots of interesting sites, giving us fantastic historical and cultural context. The recommendations she gave for restaurants, coffeehouses and attractions were also very useful. Plus she was able to shed extra light on some obscure historical questions at the end! Well worth it.
