Wien Free Museum – Vienna. My History
Beginning this blogpost with the most recent addition to Vienna’s cultural landscape, the Wien Free Museum stands as the museum to understanding the city’s rich history, spanning from the Neolithic Age to the present day.
Our team had the opportunity to visit the Museum during the Opening Ceremony and it really is a “MUST-VISIT” attraction while you are in Vienna. With three floors, over 1,500 objects and artefacts, diverse interacting activities and exhibits, there is no doubt that it is the MAIN ACTOR of the museum’s landscape at the moment.

The Free Wien Museum truly stands out with its vibrant and modern approach, making it anything but boring. It’s a place where you’re encouraged to touch, play, and even leave your own creative mark on certain exhibits.
It’s cleverly designed to be not just a museum but an experience, offering private tours for those who want to dive deeper into its stories. Whether you’re here to learn or just have fun, the Free Wien Museum makes every visit memorable and personal.

- Saturday – Sunday – 10:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m.
