Hitler’s Vienna: WW2 educational tour

Hitler Vienna Tour: A Private Walk Through Vienna’s Darkest Chapter

This private, 2-hour Hitler Vienna tour is built for groups who want a deeper, educational look at how Vienna became entangled in the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime. It is a favourite for school groups, corporate groups, and history-minded travellers who prefer a serious, guided conversation over a typical sightseeing walk.

Hitler, Stalin, Trotsky and Freud: Vienna’s Extraordinary Café Society

According to a well-known Vienna legend, in the years before the First World War, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Leon Trotsky and Sigmund Freud all spent time living in Vienna, within a short walk of each other, reading newspapers in the city’s grand coffeehouses while radical political ideas took shape around them. Our guide walks you past these landmark cafés and separates the documented history from the legend that has grown around it.

From Rise to Ruin: The Nazi Regime in Vienna

Less than a century ago, Vienna was at the centre of one of the darkest chapters in European history. After the Anschluss in 1938, the city became a stronghold of the Nazi regime, and its streets and institutions were reshaped by the terror that followed. On this dark history Vienna tour, we walk you through that period, from Hitler’s rise to power to the lasting marks it left on the city.

Morzinplatz and the Memory of the Holocaust

Morzinplatz, once the site of the Gestapo’s Vienna headquarters, today holds a memorial to the victims of the Nazi regime. We pause here to pay tribute and to tell the stories of Vienna’s Jewish community, before and during one of the most painful periods of its history.
